Drum Necklace - Elven

I had no idea where to put these, so here goes.

This is a 2-3 ft. long "necklace" made to go on an ashiko or djembe drum -- they add a little jingle on a bass strike, and look pretty swanky. Good for spoiling a beloved drum. Here it is modeled on my friend Jeff's drum. The necklace is strung on accu-flex nylon coated steel beading cord, so it's pretty sturdy, and includes aventurine, gold-tone bells and filigree beads, and assorted glass beads (dark green leaves, emerald green seeds, and iridescent clear droplets). It attaches to the drum with gold-tone lanyard clips. I made a green-and-gold ring bag to go with the drum-lace, also hanging from a lanyard clip.

If/when I make thse again, I should make a 'built-in' spot for the lanyard hooks to attach, to create a more consistent drape. Maybe a bugle bead between two larger stone beads would work.
