Description
Tonight, I discovered some more fun things to do with the GIMP -- custom palettes! I made one with the classic painter's colors, and one with the conte crayon portrait colors. Decided to try out the conte protrait colors, plus a sketchy brush, with pressure sensitivity affecting size + opacity, on a textured, colored background, to see if I could get a traditional pastel-y look.
I think it worked.

This is so cool. When I finally get myself a copy of Painter (GIMP is part of Paiter, right?), I'll have to ask you for some tips
